About the event

Join us for the Bridge Men's Society monthly Bridge Experience at the beautiful Amethyst Retreat Center in Duncannon. This month, we're excited to feature Zach Fisher, a Survival Skills Educator, Adventure Guide, and Artist, who will teach attendees the ancient art of creating fire using primitive methods.

About Zach: Zach Fisher is based in the Hudson Valley, NY, and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the outdoors. Originally from San Francisco, Zach's love for nature was nurtured during family camping trips along the California and Oregon coastlines and through exploring the Redwood groves and mountains of Lake Tahoe. His move to Sonoma County allowed him to freely explore the landscape, fostering a deep connection with the natural world.

Inspired by his artistic and musical background, Zach moved to New York City and began attending Tom Brown Jr’s Tracker School, where he developed a profound appreciation for Earth Skills. He co-founded Earth Living Skills in 2015, an outdoor education collective that offers Earth Skills classes throughout the tri-state area. Zach's teaching philosophy emphasizes creating an inclusive, challenging, and empowering learning environment that is both fun and transformative.
